The Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) called for nominations from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the vacant organisational and individual industry expert positions on the Automotive Vehicle Body Repair Industry Reference Committee (IRC) as listed in the table below. Nominations closed COB Monday 28 November 2016.
The Automotive Vehicle Body Repair IRC would have responsibility for national training package qualifications relevant in the automotive vehicle body sector that service, repair and modify vehicles.

IRC Structure
The draft structure for the Automotive Vehicle Body Repair IRC was published on this website on 10 October 2016, providing an opportunity for industry to comment on whether the structure would adequately represent the industry. The AISC welcomed the comments received from a range of stakeholders and there was general agreement that the structure was fit for purpose and should proceed to a call for nominations. One change was made as a result of this consultation – with the structure being open to the inclusion of one or more representatives from the vehicle insurance industry.
