The Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) called for nominations from suitably qualified and experiences individuals for the vacant organisational and individual industry expert positions on the Financial Services Industry Reference Committee (IRC) as listed in the table below. Nominations closed COB Tuesday 3 January 2017.
The draft structure for the Financial Services Sector IRC was published on this website on 4 July 2016, providing an opportunity for industry to comment on whether the structure would adequately represent the industry. The AISC welcomed the comments received from a range of stakeholders, and there was general agreement that the structure was fit for purpose and should proceed to a call for nominations.
The final structure for the nomination phase reduced the number of representatives to 14 to ensure targeted nominees. Membership of the IRC should provide the expertise and influence required to develop and maintain relevant components of the Financial Services Training Package; as well as provide advice on emerging trends and skills requirements now and into the future.
Further information about the role of IRCs and how they will operate can be found in the IRC Operating Framework.
For more information about the review process please see the IRC Review page.
