
+ RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
Provides credit for existing skills and knowledge of students and must be applied for within the first 2 weeks of commencement of the course.
Note: RPL often results in the shortening of the actual course duration and this may affect international Student Visa’s. For more information, please contact AGA.
+ DELIVERY
Delivery is by a combination of in-class tuition, small group and practical exercises in real or simulated work situations.
+ TEACHING METHODS
The course is delivered Monday to Friday including classroom activities, driving range practice, playing golf and external sessions provided by industry specialists

Sport Lessons 1 Coaching Professional to maximum 10 Students Class Room Lessons 1 Trainer to maximum 30 Students
+ FACILITIES
The program is undertaken at the AGA’s teaching facility located at Parkwood International Golf Course. The facility includes tutorial rooms, Internet access and relevant reference materials.
+ ASSESSMENT
These are competency based qualifications. Competency is assessed through a variety of forms including written, observation, tests, assignments, verbal questioning, portfolios and self assessment. Students receive individualised support as required. Assessment outcomes will be either Competent or Not Yet Competent.
+ ACADEMIC PROGRESSION
Students are required to demonstrate ongoing academic progress in their course and will be counseled if necessary in this regard.
+ ACADEMIC EXPECTATIONS
The Nationally Accredited Courses require a balance between academic effort and golf. Poor academic performance may result in the removal of golf privileges (weekly competitions, excursions etc) or exclusion from AGA’s Training Facility until such time that the student has improved their academic performance.
+ GOLF LINK
All long term students are provided with a Golf Link number. Golf Link is the premier golf handicap network, whereby all players can track their scores and up-to-date handicaps online
+ GOLF COMPETITIONS
Students are to participate in a compulsory weekly student competition (prizes awarded) to improve their skills in a competitive environment. Students are also encouraged to participate in other events and Pro-Ams as well as maintain a playing diary and statistics sheet.
