BACKGROUND

The SIS50610 Diploma of Sport Development is a nationally accredited qualification from the National Sports Industry Training Package. The course provides graduates with the skills and knowledge to pursue a career in Sport Development. Students will learn to work autonomously to manage competition, sports venues and facilities, and to identify and develop athletes. Job roles include Competition Manager, Program Developer or Talent Development Manager.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

·         Have satisfactorily completed Australian Year 10 or its equivalent

·         Have an IELTS band score of 5.5 or equivalent.

·         Suitable practical golf skills and knowledge of tactics, strategies and the application of rules.

Students receive the qualification SIS50610 Diploma of Sport Development and an Australian Golf Union handicap.
